Program in a Nutshell
The Program
The CRBI program is designed
to provide you in-depth
Bible learning leading to your non-accredited Graduate of Biblical Studies
Certificate or Advanced Certificate. The Bible Institute program will provide
an in-depth, detailed study of God’s Word to those dedicated men and women
wishing to receive a quality Bible education. The program will offer two
certificates, one for those completing the basic course of 27 credit hours covering
the Bible and basic doctrines. An advanced certificate will be award for those
completing an additional 9 credit hours designed to help apply this new found
knowledge in practical settings.
Graduates of the basic course
will earn the Graduate of Biblical Studies Certificate. Those completing the
advanced materials will also be awarded the Advanced Graduate Certificate.
Students taking the additional classes, such as Romans or Timothy / Titus, will
also receive Advanced Graduate Certificates.
The Courses
Have you ever considered why

the relationship of the Ten Commandments to the doctrine of Grace? Do you fret over the meaning of a passage?
If so, then the Calvary Road Bible
Institute is the place for you to come and learn about God’s Word. The difference of this program is seen in
both its methodology and teaching schedule. The program is based upon materials prepared Dr. Harold
Willmington, Dean of the Liberty Bible Institute, supplied
by other appropriate materials..
During the 1 1/2 -years-to-2
years of study, you will read, consider, and study both doctrines and
individual books of Scripture.
The General Scope of the
Program is laid out as follows:
"Beginnings" Semester
- Old
Testament Survey, Part 1
- Testament Survey Part 1
- Theological Survey (study of Doctrines) part 1
The History Semester is Part 2 of the three survey coverage's, while the
Prophecy Semester is the final part of
the surveys. In other words, you will
spend three full semesters doing a survey of the entire Bible and the doctrines
taught therein. Those persons completing these courses will be awarded their
Basic Certificate.
The Application Semester introduces you to Hermeneutics, the study of
biblical interpretation, Apologetics, the defense of your faith, using the
epistle to the Colossians as the basis for the study of Hermeneutics and
Apologetics in a semester called Hermeneutics, Apologetics, Colossians, and
Controversy.
Each student will also
prepare one or more independent research papers for each course. These papers
are designed to allow the students an opportunity to apply the factual
knowledge gleaned in each course.
